What are the Proud Beaches scholarships?

This scholarship will pay the cost of becoming a surf lifesaver. It will support you in joining your local surf lifesaving club. The scholarship will pay for the:

• Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) - for those 13-15 years old

• Bronze Medallion (BM) - for those aged 15+.

Applications are usually assessed based on your responses to why you want to be a surf lifesaver, your involvement with the LGBTQIA+ community, and how you anticipate to support diversity and inclusion in your new local surf club.

How do I apply for the Proud Beaches Scholarship?

Applications for the 2023-2024 season will open in September, 2023.
